
The Format of a Business Letter

Block Format
In the block format, all of the elements of the letter are aligned to the left margin. This is the most common style of business letter format.
Modified Block Format

Semi-Block Format

No matter which style of format you choose, there are some basic elements that should be included in every business letter.

- Inside Address: The inside address should include the name, title, company, and address of the recipient.
